- When you return to Hong Kong, you, and your accompanying person(s), must bring along either an electronic copy or printed copy of this successful booking page of the Booking System for checking upon request at the entry port.
- Before entry to Hong Kong, you, and your accompanying person(s), must take, in good time, COVID-19 nucleic acid test at any of the medical testing institution in the Guangdong Province or Macao recognised by the HKSAR Government, and obtain valid proof of a negative test result that was taken in no more than three (3) days before your date of arrival (i.e. the date of specimen collection to be counted as the first day (e.g. 20 November), the test will be valid for 3 days until 23 November).

Information about the recognised medical testing institutions are as follows:

- After having taken the COVID-19 nucleic acid test with a valid negative test result, you, and your accompanying persons, should obtain a valid “Yuekang Code” (i.e. the “Health Code of the Guangdong Province”) or “Macao Health Code” (depending on your location) which you may use to submit the declaration through the electronic health declaration system of the Department of Health to obtain the corresponding QR code for your return to Hong Kong.
- A person meeting all conditions as specified by the Secretary for Food and Health under section 12(2) of the Regulation will be issued a green QR code, with which the person will not be subjected to 14-day compulsory quarantine upon entry to Hong Kong at the specified entry port on the appointed date.

To facilitate the checking process, you are reminded to bring along, in addition to the QR code mentioned above, the following for you and each of your accompanying persons:
- the paper nucleic acid test report with a negative test result (either in paper or electronic form);
- the original copy of the identity document;
- proof of successful booking page of the Booking System (either an electronic copy or printed copy).
- To avoid long queues or unsuccessful code conversion due to unstable network connection, at the control points, you are strongly advised to complete the aforesaid conversion from either the “Yuekang Code” or “Macao Health Code” to the electronic health declaration form of the Department of Health within 24 hours before you arrive at the port of entry. - Those who fail to produce a green QR code for inspection may still be subjected to compulsory quarantine for 14 days upon their return to Hong Kong.
- The inspection authorities at the control points will inform the persons returning to Hong Kong in case they are not exempted from compulsory quarantine due to eligibility or other reasons, for example, not bringing along valid nucleic acid test report with negative result, not returning Hong Kong on the appointed date and at the specified entry port, or having visited places other than the Guangdong Province or Macao within 14 days before entering Hong Kong.
- The final entry arrangement will be determined by the inspection authorities at the control points having regard to the conditions of this Scheme and all relevant circumstances.
